Los Angeles’s rowing and recreational boating community is thriving, however, it’s in desperate need of a home – parking lots and beaches are not enough. As a central hub for rowers and boaters, the Community Boathouse will provide the infrastructure to grow and develop rowing and boating as Los Angeles heads into hosting the 2028 Olympics Games. More importantly, the benefit of The Boathouse extends far beyond the core rowing and boating community, as it will support adaptive sports, veteran activities and youth outreach.
